The issues facing our children today are immense. Pressures both inside and outside the school can sometimes be too much to handle.
I was recently co-opted onto on the Board of Trustees with two other Maori parents Georgia Hapeta and Herewini Rikihana. Our group will hopefully provide better communication links to the iwi.
My hope is that we can be of some help with regards to our Maori children and create a positive environment where all our children are safe and do well in there school work.
The work is very satisfying when you see our children do well both academically, socially and at sports. The quality of our teachers, principal and staff will help make our Otaki College !!! The College of Choice !!!!!
